Cheering Up Santa, A Christmas Concert is set for TOMORROW! The students and Mrs. Allen have been working so hard to get everything ready for the production. Show time is at 6 P.M. and we are asking that your child be with their classroom teacher at 5:45. Be on the lookout for specific drop-off and pick-up information (another post will be made tomorrow). Here at Lincoln we love a good tradition! The iconic Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has been a holiday tradition since 1924. The third graders have been carrying out their own version of a Thanksgiving Parade for several years now (maybe not quite as long as the Macy's Parade, but we can pretend 😉). The students and staff look forward to seeing all of the creative balloons each year before Thanksgiving break!
December is right around the corner, so be looking for the new lunch menu in your child's red folder. AND it looks like December 12th is another chili and cinnamon roll day!
Just remember that if you plan on eating lunch with your child to call the office no later than 9 am. Lunch times are specific to grade levels:
Third: 11:25-11:45 (Recess until 12:10)
Fourth: 11:45-12:05 (Recess until 12:30)
Fifth: 12:00-12:20 (Recess 11:35-12:00)
Fourth graders have been learning all about the Navajo Code Talkers this week. Now, it is their turn to create and crack codes to help them solve a mystery! 🕵🏻♂️🕵🏻♀️

It looks like winter weather is going to be the new norm! Please make sure that your child wears a coat to school each day. Also, if students choose to wear shorts for P.E. or dresses, they MUST have other pants/leggings to cover their legs. ❄️❄️❄️
