Our Dino-mites are having a blast catching grasshoppers on the playground and keeping them in a bug house. We love the curiosity and zest for learning!

When picking your child up after the school day, please stand in the gravel drive by the gravel lot. This drive is closed to vehicles during our dismissal. By staying off the sidewalk, our students have room to get to their buses safely. Otherwise it gets too congested and students can find where they are supposed to go. This is also a reminder that you will have to get out of your vehicle to pick up your child. Thank you for helping us keep all of our students safe!

For the time being, breakfast and lunch are free for all students. This is currently available through a grant but does not cover milk tickets. When this changes or we know the date when it will, parents will be notified.

Tomorrow is our First and Second Grade Celebration at Jefferson! We are so excited to see all of you again! After stalking the weather, there is still a 50 percent chance of rain during our celebration. If it is raining in the morning, we will skip the time on the playground and will start the day coming into the building at 8:15. You will meet your child’s teacher in the hallway outside of their classroom and then proceed with the regular schedule. If it is not raining, we will stick with the original plan of meeting on the playground at 7:45. Juice and muffins will be provided for those attending the celebration. Either way, parents will be done at 9:30 and our school day will end at 3:10. Thank you so much for being flexible!
